It’s time for midterms and then spring break for the Bees! We took the time to ask Ambrosians what they are doing with their week away from campus.

Freshman Grace Hagerman will be a busy bee on her break, “I will be working, doing observation hours for K-6 music class, and going to Waverly Iowa to support my sister while she sings for her senior recital and her last home concert for Wartburg Choir and Wartburg College.”

Other students will be taking a more laid back approach to their spring break. Freshman Allie Crisco says she is heading home for break, “I probably will be hanging out with my sister, maybe having a bonfire with some friends from back home.”

Some Bees are keeping it simple for spring break, “I will be going home and then spending the weekend in Chicago doing tourism and shopping then going back home the weekend before school and taking a long nap,” says Senior Brianna Barton.

Sophomore Peyton Willaert says she will be working during her break, while freshman Joseph Scott says “hanging out with family” is what’s on the schedule for his spring break. .

Sophomore Greg Gomez shared his simple plans for spring break. He said, “I’m gonna go home, I’m gonna take a nap, then I’m gonna wake up from my nap, then I’m gonna go play video games.”

Let’s not forget the Bees who worked their stingers off all semester and feel like they can’t move a muscle. When sharing his spring break plans, Senior David Swyassink simply said “rotting.” He elaborated, saying, “I will be relaxing in my apartment all break, maybe I’ll go for a walk a few times and hang out with some friends too.”

The Buzz wishes all Bees a happy and safe spring break full of fun and rest. Take the time to recharge and come back ready to conquer the rest of the semester and finals in May!
